I have been a physical therapist for over 10 years and worked in a variety of settings, but pediatrics has my heart. I was born and raised in Arizona. I played all sports growing up but focused on playing soccer competitively. My soccer career led me to be in and out of physical therapy myself due to knee pain. I saw how the physical therapists loved what they did and the impact they had on people's lives; I knew it was what I wanted to do. I graduated with my BA in Exercise Science from Point Loma Nazarene University where I completed an Honors Project. My project was to determine if fatigue of the Gluteus Medius muscle leads to greater risk of injury of the ACL in the female population. I went on to earn my Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Northern Arizona University graduating in 2012. It was during my final rotation that I had the opportunity to work with kids and knew it was what I was meant to do.

Since starting my professional journey, I have worked in home health, at several outpatient clinics and in the hospital which has shaped me into a well rounded therapist. I am a mom of 2 beautiful children and can fully appreciate the challenges and rewards of parenthood. My goal is not only to improve functional mobility and quality of life in the children I work with, but also empower and educate the families by building relationships rooted in trust. I would love the opportunity to work with your child and know I could provide quality care that address your concerns and help them in meeting their goals.

When I am not working with kids, I am spending time with my own children and husband enjoying quality time.  Whether its 115 degrees and we are hanging out in the pool, or  70 degrees riding bikes in the front yard you can always catch us outside. I am a huge sports fan but football is my absolute favorite to watch. Go Cards and Lions (as my husband says, you are born into being a Lions fan you don't choose it... for me I married into it).
